Imagine Eskmo and Lorn get wasted and kidnap Brian Eno for a night in a mobile studio in the woods – and you might come close to describing the fractured digital processing of organic analogue synthetics over evolving emotive soundscapes that is theSpiral.
As the name suggests theSPIRAL's music is spinning and cochlear and manages to be both complex and natural, resonating with its biogenic inspiration.

theSPIRAL grew up in County Clare on Ireland's wild Atlantic west coast, the child of artist parents who relocated from Cornwall, UK soon after his birth.
His musical journey began when he inherited a pair of synthi AKS (one only partially functioning) from his great uncle, who had worked for the pioneering synth-makers EMS.
With the help of his dad’s Revox tape machine and some early recordings of synth textures he began to pursue a definite musical trajectory making waves in the local surf scene while still in his teens.
Progressing from playing for friends at beach parties and raves, theSPIRAL began to devote more time to composition and found a ready audience for his unique empyreal sounds.
Now with interest and expectation continuing to grow in theSPIRAL's work, some of these inimitable recordings are being made available to the wider public for the first time, promising fans and newcomers alike a chance to share in the experience.
